Delete your Facebook and Instagram data

When you connect Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business or Meta Ads to KLCT, we receive data from Meta on your behalf. You can have that data deleted at any time. This page explains exactly what is deleted, what is not, and the three ways to ask.

This deletes your Meta data only. It does not delete your KLCT account or anything else in KLCT. You keep your login, subscription, contacts, calls, bookings and everything else.

What we delete

• Your Meta connections and access tokens: Facebook / Instagram, Meta Ads and WhatsApp Business, including the Pages, ad accounts, Pixels and profile details we stored from them.
• Instagram and WhatsApp messages received in the KLCT support inbox through Meta: the conversations, their messages and any photos, audio or files downloaded from Meta.
• Data Meta returned about your content: post IDs, links and performance numbers for posts published through KLCT, and the daily ad performance pulled from your Meta ad account.
• Meta identifiers on your contacts: an Instagram handle, Instagram user ID or profile picture saved against a contact.
• KLCT also revokes its access in your Facebook settings, so it no longer appears under Apps and Websites.

What we do not delete

• Your KLCT account and everything not received from Meta: your login, billing and invoices, contacts, calls, text messages, emails, bookings and TikTok connection.
• Content you wrote in KLCT. Posts and ad campaigns you or KLCT drafted keep their text and images; only the IDs and results Meta attached to them are removed. Ad campaigns that were running are marked paused in KLCT, and keep running on Meta until you pause them in Meta Ads Manager.
• Billing records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting.

Three ways to delete your Meta data

1. Remove KLCT in Facebook (automatic)

In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, select KLCT, and choose Remove. This ends our access. Then use Facebook's option to request deletion of the data KLCT received; Facebook notifies us and we delete it automatically. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link to the status page described below.

2. From inside KLCT (immediate)

Sign in as an account admin and open Integrations → Delete my Meta data. It shows exactly what we hold, and deletes it when you type DELETE to confirm. You get a confirmation code straight away.

3. Ask us

Fill in the form below, or email [email protected] from the address you used with KLCT. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you, delete the data, and email you when it is done, within 30 days.

Check the status of a deletion

Every deletion has a confirmation code. Open https://app.klctai.com/data-deletion/status/your-code to see whether it has completed and what was removed. The page shows counts only, never your data.
